Hello there!

My name is Vivian (she/her) and I have experience working with youth (0-18) and adults in individual, couple, and family settings. I have been working as a therapist for the past 4 years and have experience providing care for individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, family and couple conflict, and educational, learning and developmental disabilities. I am a neurodiversity affirming therapist who also works with LGBTQ+ towards empowering individuals to find their unique, individual, and collective strengths, to acknowledge the roots of

their suffering and the systems that underlie it, and to access opportunities to experience joy, self love, liberation, and connection. The modalities I tend to use most often are Solution

Focused and Narrative Therapy. I am not the “expert” in the room. You are the expert of your own story. I firmly believe that people are the not the problem, the problem is the problem. I will help you separate yourself from the problems that are not suiting you and empower you to live the life you want to live. Vivian’s Style is affirming, humorous, and holistic.

The bulk of my experience includes working with adolescents (12-17yrs) within the context of outpatient recovery. This includes individual, group, and family settings.

With my background in adolescent and family therapy, coupled with the Experiential Family Therapy model, our family sessions will involve interactive and engaging activities aimed at fostering deeper connections and understanding within the family unit. You can expect a collaborative environment where each family member has the opportunity to express themselves authentically and explore underlying emotions and dynamics. Together, we will work towards building stronger relationships, improving communication, and developing effective coping strategies to navigate challenges as a family.

For individuals seeking therapy to address depression, anxiety, stress, emotional management, addiction, and relational conflict, I offer tailored sessions designed to meet your specific needs and goals. With experience in these areas, I provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore your challenges and work towards healing and growth. Through evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, we will collaboratively develop strategies to manage symptoms, build resilience, and improve overall well-being. Together, we will navigate through difficult emotions, identify patterns of thinking and behavior, and cultivate healthier coping mechanisms to support your journey towards a more fulfilling life.
