I graduated from University of California, San Diego with a major in psychology and from University of San Diego with a masters in Marriage and Family therapy. I have been gaining experience, knowledge, and training in this field since 2010. I have been a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists since 2017.   • Marriage and Family Trainee at Catholic Charities. I provided services to individuals, families and couples with a variety of challenges such as anxiety, communication problems, depression, schizophrenia and parenting. In addition, I completed immigration evaluations for those needing hardship waivers for lawyers/court.

  • Marriage and Family Trainee at Prevencasa in Tijuana. I provided individual therapy for individuals struggling with trauma, depression, and anxiety.
  • Marriage and Family Intern at San Diego Youth Services with the Breaking Cycles program. I provided individual and family counseling to adolescents in the juvenile justice system. While working at Breaking Cycles I addressed issues related to substance abuse, conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and anxiety.
  • Family Support Specialist at The Preuss School. I provided resources and referrals for a variety of services needed for students within the community. I represented as the Homeless and Foster Care Liaison making sure that these students were being supported. Additionally, I provided therapy to students and families. The most common issues addressed in therapy were anxiety disorders, eating disorder, self-harm, depression, attention deficit disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
  • Private Practice providing therapy for couples, individuals, and families.
